We have all witnessed the launch of the Gouna Film Festival in its first edition in the marvelous Egyptian Red Sea resort town of El Gouna, which started Friday the 22nd to Friday until the 29th of September 2017 and were mesmerized by the setup, decoration and finesse.

It came to a point that it was falsely announced that an expat designer was behind the design and a foreign production crew were behind the production of the setup.

Surprisingly its Mr. Yehia Allam an Egyptian production designer and the founder of Allamz for Designs and solution. Mr. Yehia Allam supported by Allamz team & crew are responsible for the design of the Gouna Film Festival in its first edition from concept till completion: the Gate, stage, pre-function area, box office kiosk, Tunnel, Entrance, Press area, plan and and much more were artistically executed it to bring this piece of Art that took part of the elegance of the gouna film festival… Not to forget WE RENT the unique Event Furniture Company in Egypt who have styled and Furnished the El gouna Festival. www.werentegypt.com

This amazing design and Production is the achievement and hard work of Mr. Yehia Allam and his team..

Commenting on this matter Mr. Yehia Allam thanked all the people who weren’t given any credit for their marvelous work. He said:

As the production designer of the Gouna Film Festival, I would like to thank the people behind the success of the Gouna film festival in its first edition who unfortunately weren't given any credit whatsoever and intentionally or not discredited.... I know this will not make up for it but I promise that I will do my utmost so this team gets the deserved acclaim and I apologize If I might forget some names.... 

I would like to thank First of all Magued Makram the project manager who came in a very short notice but managed to pull it off and manage the whole project and coordinate between us all and did a marvelous job...

Allamz team for the design and production Sally Elshamey (you were there and the backbone of the production) Leena Helmy (thank you for your support throughout all phases) Kamel AlBorno(no words can thank you enough) Walid A Elhameed (the great art director) Muhammed Soubhy.... You guys pulled it off like pros.

Prolite lead by no other than Maged Safwat the lighting and the beauty of everything speaks for itself. You literally lit the Gouna.... Bravo  

Mr Shaheer who needs no introduction... He is the sound engineer and Maestro behind this beautiful acoustics who also delivered beautifully, graciously and elegantly....

Thank you all my friends I could have never in my life wish for a better team until we meet again in future projects. Thank you all, you were really amazing....
On a last note it has been stated recently in more than one occasion that there were foreigners or expats involved in the design & production.... This is absolutely not true the Gouna film festival design and production is a product of Egyptians and only Egyptians.... So be proud Egypt is on its way....

In events Yehia Allam (Allamz) designed & produced most of the Byganz Events including Rubies, Teadance, disco 90s….etc, The Gouna World Squash Tournament, Trux In Sahel and many other prominent events.

With an extensive experience of over 15 years Mr Yehia Allam has worked as a production designer and in the field of exhibitions & events in Egypt. 

Seeing that the Festival is created by young creative Egyptians, for the Egyptians and the whole world.
